Wheel Alignment Measuring System

Wheel Alignment Displacment transducer WAD-1B

The wheel alignment displacement transducer WAD-1B is combined with the wheel alignment measuring instrument WAM-1A to measure each displacement in X, Y and Z axis at wheel center as well as the changes in steering angle and camber angle while the car is running. The displacement transducer is fixed on an immovable position of the car and the end of the transducer is linked to the head of the wheel (6-component wheel force transducer SLW), so that the displacement transducer follows the movement of the wheel. Changes in the angle of the link which follows the wheel movement are measured by rotary encoders in the transducer. The WAM-1A outputs displacements and angles in analog voltage form in real time. The displacement transducer is also equipped with a slip ring supporting function which is required to maintain the reference position of the 6-component wheel force transducer (SLW) in a constant position.

Wheel Alignment Analyzer WAM-1A

The wheel alignment measuring instrument WAM-1A is combined with the wheel alignment displacement transducer WAD-1B to measure each displacement in X, Y and Z axis at wheel center as well as the changes in steering angle and camber angle while the car is running. The measurement results are output as analog voltage in real time. The control software WAM-1A is supplied as a standard accessory.
