    Static strainmeters are classified into single-channel static strainmeter and multi-channel automatic switching data loggers. Most of these instruments can measure not only strain gauges but also DC voltage and temperaure using thermocouples and Pt RTD.
    The indicator is a digiral readout unit for full bridge strain gauge transducers including load cells, displacement transducers and pressure transducers. Panel mounting for industrial use and high/low limit function are available.
    TML-NET compatible instruments
    TML-NET is our own system that measurement control and data transfer as well as power supply are executed on 2-wire network line. There are single-channel handheld readout optimum for in-situ measurement and network driver for combined with mult-channel automatic switching data loggers.

  • Dynamic Strainmeters
    Dynamic strain is a strain which varies with time. By measuring the dynamic strain caused by vibration, the dynamic behavior of a structure can be numerized and graphed in wave form. The analog signal is amplified, output and recorded to an external recorder. Till now many analog type dynamic strainmetes which basically need one strainmeter and one recorder for each channel have been used, but nowadays when data processing with a computer has become a must, digital type dynamic strainmeters which digitize analog signal (input signal) at high speed,once store in the internal data memory and transfer to a computer have gone mainstream. The digital dynamic strainmeters enabling 4, 8, 10 and 30 channel measurements with one unit are now available. Also, there are dynamic recorders with recording function which display numeric data and wave data and store them and dynamic strainmeters which perform on-line setup and data processing.
    Bridge Excitation
    The dynamic strainmeters are available with AC carrier or DC in bridge excitation. As the sensitivity is the magnitude of output to input strain, the higher the bridge excitation, the higher the sensitivity becomes. On the other hand,as the bridge voltage reflects the magnitue of Joule's heat and influences the temperature characteristics of sensors, there are instruments which can select bridge excitation depending on sensors.
