The PP Series is a high-sensitivity, compact pore water pressure transducer specifically designed for measuring pore water pressure in soil during geotechnical model testing. Its small form factor enables installation in limited spaces within laboratory-scale soil specimens, providing accurate and stable measurements of pore water pressure distribution.

High-Accuracy Measurement through Enhanced Output
Compared with the KPG-100KPA (1500 με) of the same capacity, the new model achieves a high output of 4000 με.
The increased output improves resolution, enabling more precise and stable measurements. -
Compact φ5 Design (Conventional KPG-100KPA: φ8.7 → New PP-100KPA: φ5)
The reduced sensor diameter allows:
Easier installation in confined spaces
Further downsizing of laboratory models (contributing to reduced fabrication costs)
Minimization of the sensor’s influence on the measurement environment -
Reduced Influence on Fluid Flow (During Dynamic Measurement)
The smaller mounting hole diameter suppresses flow disturbance and reduces its effect on pressure fluctuations. -
Selectable Cable Outlet Direction
Available in two configurations: vertical and horizontal cable outlet types.
This allows flexible installation according to site and model conditions.
