Dynamic strain data recording software DRA-7610 FAQ

  • I want to display all data during monitoring in a graph.

Set "Keep Monitor Data" to “ON” in the import mode settings.

  • I want to balance voltage input.

Set "Balance of Voltage" to “ON” in the import mode settings.

  • The computer froze while importing measurement data.

Refer to "manual reception" in the operation manual.
Measurement data that was not imported can be imported manually.

  • When I imported measurement data and checked the measurement data in a list, the number of measurement data was different from the Record Word (number of data) specified in the A/D conversion setting.

This can occur when a capacity higher than the data memory of the measuring instrument is set. See section 8-7 on data memory (DRA-101 series) and section 6.2.6 on setting data memory (DRA-107A) in the operation manuals for the measuring instruments.

  • A GP-IB errors occurred.

An error occurs if the "GPIB MODE" switch on the back of the instrument is not set to "ADDBL.". Set this switch to "ADDBL." and turn on the power of the instrument again.
(DRA-107A does not feature this switch.)

  • An RS-232C error occurred.

An error occurs if the "GPIB MODE" switch on the back of the instrument is not set to "LOCAL". Set this switch to "LOCAL" and turn on the power of the instrument again.

  • When sampling is set to 0.9 msec or less in the A/D conversion setting, and the [計測]-[開始] menu option is run, the message "Error Code = 6" is displayed and the measurement window is not displayed.

To avoid this, click the [数値] tab in the [地域] in the Control Panel and change [0の表⽰] to “0.7”. This occurs as this is the sampling setting and a dynamic strainmeter is not capable of display by ".7”.
