Concrete Moisture Sensors KZW-1A

Concrete Moisture Sensors KZW-1A

Directly monitoring changes in moisture content in concrete is a rational and very effective method for quality control of concrete.
Concrete Moisture Sensor can estimate the free water content (evaporable water at 105°C) of concrete from fresh concrete to hardened concrete by electrically and nondestructively monitoring changes in moisture content inside the concrete continuously from immediately after placement.
This can be applied to determine the state of curing, the timing of formwork removal, and the timing of surface finishing.
It can also be used for versatile purposes in fields such as research on hydration of concrete, which is closely related to the water content in concrete, durability, and maintenance management.

Protection ratings: IP67 equivalent

Concrete Filling Sensors KZA-1C

Concrete Filling Sensors KZA-1C

This sensor is designed to monitor the filling status of concrete in the formwork.
By attaching the sensor to any location to be monitored and connecting it to a measuring instrument, the filling status can be monitored in real time.
This sensor is particularly useful for quality control of construction work in confined spaces where it is difficult to check the filling status by compaction or visual observation, such as the flowability of high-fluidity fresh concrete in structures with high-density reinforcement.

Concrete Filling Sensors KZA-1C
Features
  • Discrimination between materials with different electrical conductivities, such as fresh concrete, bleeding water, air, etc.
  • Applied voltage method
  • Compact, lightweight, and thin
  • Measurable with our static strainmeter (TDS series)

Micro Creep Meter

Micro Creep Meter KH-A 5mm (±2.5mm)

This displacement transducer is designed to measure the internal displacement of concrete underground tanks and tunnels.
It measures minute displacement between two points separated by 1 to 10 meters.
A micro creep meter is attached to one point and a super invar wire fixture is attached to the other point using anchor bolts, and the two are connected by a super invar wire for measurement.
It is mainly used as a construction management instrument.

Protection ratings: IP42 equivalent

Shift Sensor

Shift Sensor KUH-A
X direction: ±3mm Z direction: +3mm

This sensor measures the amount of displacement by capturing the behavior of the joint between the front-placed concrete and the back-placed concrete of a concrete structure.
Non-contact measurement between two points allows measurement without affecting the behavior of the joints.
The sensor is compact, lightweight, and easy to handle. It can measure not only displacement in the shear direction (X direction), but also in the direction where the boundary surface delaminates (Z direction) due to cracks or other phenomena.
Furthermore, it can be applied to concrete and steel surfaces (but not magnetized) as well as buried surfaces.
This product was jointly developed with the Structural Maintenance Research Center, National Research Institute of Civil Engineering.

Protection ratings: IP68 equivalent

Continuous Tube Displacement Transducer

Continuous Tube Displacement Transducer KWL-E 100mm

This displacement transducer measures the vertical displacement of civil engineering structures such as bridges. It is connected to a reference water tank at an immovable point by a connecting pipe, and measures the displacement with respect to the water surface in the tank.
Inside the displacement transducer is a detector that constantly detects and tracks the water surface using a servo mechanism, and a circuit that electrically converts the amount of movement of the detector.
The displacement of the structure is measured as the relative displacement of the reference water surface to the displacement transducer.
Our data logger is used for measurement, allowing automatic measurement of multiple points.
A servo mechanism is used to detect the reference water surface, and the circuit stability has been further improved to ensure stable measurement over a long period of time. (Built-in arrester)
