Strain gauge selection according to test temperature
The test temperature can be taken as a basic standard for gauge selection. The temperature ranges are roughly classified into room temperaure, lower temperature and higher temperature. There are bonding type and spot-welding type strain gauges for high temperature ranges.
Bonding type high temperature strain gauges according to measuring objects
Metal/+150℃
Metal/+200℃
- QF series high temperature gauges
- CEF series High and low temperature strain gauge
- EF Series High Temperature Strain Gauges (two-element / three-element)
Metal/+300℃

Shear/+200℃
*Adhesives and coatings for high temperature use must be combined.
Spot-welding type high temperature strain gauges
Metal/+300℃
Metal/+800℃
Metal/+800℃
